I'm a registered occupational therapist in Canada and the person behind every Busy Bee OT resource.
I've been an OT for nearly 5 years, working in private practice with both children and adults. I've also supervised OT fieldwork students, which is where a lot of these resources started. Over and over, I watched families and new clinicians run into the same problems: routines that fell apart at home, goals that were hard to write, and documentation that ate into evenings. So I started making the tools I wished existed.
For families, that means simple visual supports that help kids build independence with everyday routines, without needing a therapy degree to use them.
For clinicians, it means templates, goal banks and documentation tools built the way an OT actually thinks, so you spend less time writing and more time with your clients.
Every resource is designed from real clinical reasoning and checked carefully before it goes out. If something isn't useful in a real session or a real kitchen at 7:30 in the morning, it doesn't make the cut.
When I'm not making resources or working as an OT, you can usually find me out for a run or spending time with my family.
Thanks for being here. If you have a question about a resource or an idea for something new, I'd love to hear from you at hello@busybeeot.shop.
